Stealth was approved by the AHHA in 2000, receiving the highest score for the
Stallion Approvals that year. In his jumping test under saddle, he received straight
9’s. His elegance, power, rhythm, extra jumping ability and technique earned high
praise from both the German and U.S. judges for his modern type.
Stealth combines the power and technique of his sire, Sabotage (the only stallion to
win the International Jumper Futurity twice) and the elegance and elasticity of his
dam, My Jewel xx, herself a highly successful show jumper. Her dam line has
produced both race and sport horses, including Lawrin, a Kentucky Derby winner
and the Grand Prix jumper, Triple Crown. My Jewel xx is inbred to the influential
sires *Alibhai, *Hyperion, Mahmoud, *Blenheim II and Blue Larkspur, who between
them appear in the pedigrees of over 200 national and international hunters,
jumpers, dressage and event horses.
Stealth began his performance in 2001, successfully competing in Second Level
Dressage under Heather Bender, always placing with scores in the 70’s. In 2004,
Stealth entered the jumper arena under Mandy Goosen. He exhibited tremendous
scope and technique, placing well up to preliminary jumper competition. In 2005,
Stealth placed well in show jumping levels 4, 5 and 6 with many clear rounds.
Stealth is an exceptional stallion in both sport and breeding. He has produced several
premium foals, thus far, including Signature Samurai with scores of 7 for type and 8
for movement (in 2005) and the filly Westside Story with scores of 8 for type and 8
for gaits (in 2006). His daughter, Sterling Moon PT, is in the MMP and was the site
champion.
